@apartpublicationsThe state of contentment explores a melancholy state inbetween the spectrum of happiness and satisfaction. The story follows a girl who has reached a point of acceptance in her life - the acceptance of lost hope for a “bigger life”. Her being in this state of content does not necessarily imply negative emotions, she is simply content. This is visually represented by mundane imagery that evokes this sense of comfort within mundanity.
