Our concept Dreaming of Schiaparelli is inspired by the surrealism created in the subconscious state of dreaming. Elsa Schiaparelli was captivated by the imaginative freedom in the work of surrealist artists where she drew inspiration for her creations. Dreams are central in surrealism since they offer a path for artists into their unconscious mind . Surrealistic ideas are often born in the irrational, strange and vivid world of dreams. 

Dreaming of Schiaparelli is playing with the surrealism and irrationality by showcasing the model laying in a bed dressed up with small objects attached to her hair covering her face, playing with the idea of dreaming.
